This display often fades in the A class W169 and B class W245. After a longer journey, sometimes nothing at all can be read. Also single lines or pixels fail. This LCD display is connected on the board by a terminal plug. There is no need to solder anything and it should be relatively easy for the skilled hobby screwdriver to change it himself. The display works with 7 Volt control which is the case for most combination instruments. If you have the 8 Volt version, only a small resistor needs to be soldered in. The resistor is always included and the instructions will be sent to you by email.
